How much is membership?

Our membership year runs from 1 March to 28 February.

A Senior membership costs $160 per year, which includes a $6 national levy. If you join later in the membership year, some membership types may be available at a pro-rata rate, depending on when you join.

Please note the $6 levy is a fixed national cost and is added regardless of when you join.

What are the membership types?

Senior (18–65 years) – $154 + $6 levy
Standard membership for adult members.

Junior (Under 18 years) – $70
For members under 18 years old.

Student – $70
For full-time students.

Superannuant (65+) – $103 + $2 levy
For members aged 65 and over.

Affiliate – $55
For members who already belong to another NZDA club.

How do I join?

You can join the Southern Lakes Branch by completing the membership application on the NZDA centralised website.

Simply select the membership type that applies to you and follow the steps in the online application form.

If you would like to include children or a spouse in your membership, you can add them under your account by selecting the Family Membership option during the application process.
