Who this is for
This is aimed at NZDA members of all skill level - we try and team new hunters (and those still waiting on their licence) with experienced members and is a great opportunity to meet other members of the club.

The basic plan is to meet at Ferintosh Station (was supposed to be Unwin lodge but they are full) which on the way to Mt Cook on the Friday night, hunt on Saturday and leave Sunday am.

Once we have confirmed numbers, we can send the member list out and car pool options will be available

There will be a cost for the 2 nights accommodation. The club will pay for the hire of long range radios for safety.

Station accommodation

We are staying in the shearers quarters - there is generator power

Staying in bunk room huts.  There is a Lounge / kitchen and 1 shower and toilet.
You can drive your car to front door and sight in rifles right there.

Directions

To find, 9km on right from Peters lookout, a road cone will be at drive. Turn up here
Full directions and details will also come out the week before the trip

T&Cs

You will need to be a fully paid up NZDA member to attend this weekend. It is likely we will share some spaces with the Alexandra club .
Should Covid Levels change and the trip is cancelled, we will refund any money paid .

Please note the trip will still go ahead if rain is forecast as often the weather clears enough to get out and hunt at some point.  Delicate soft types not wanting to get wet will not be refunded unless the weather is  a safety issue.
