Working Bee & Hunting Sept 2022

Working Bee and Hunting trip - Greenstone Hut

This is a great chance for new members to go for a hunt with more experienced hunters and the chance to get to know a few club members over a whisky or beer round the table at night. These working bees are always a popular annual event

We do some cleaning, general maintenance, wood chopping and this year some stoat trap maintenance; and of course some hunting!

We normally helicopter in gas bottles and supplies and so there will be room if you want to help and hunt and/or fly fish while up there.

This year the September ballot period only covers one weekend so we will aim to head to cover that.
We have access to a few balloted spots available up Steele Creek during 20th  - 30th Sept inclusive so if you are keen, we try our best to share these out among everyone helping out.

We are currently gathering names for those keen and will organise helicopters in ($100 each way) or share rides etc

Helicopters are heading in/out:-

• Friday 23rd Sept
• Monday 26th Sept*
• other dates on demand if ample numbers - email to discuss
  
  (*This can be the Sunday if better for everyone)

Once we know who is interested we will email the times of the helicopters and further details.
