20 spots are open for female NZDA members to assemble in the Mavora area (between Queenstown and Te Anau) for a long weekend of authentic backcountry hunting, food and fun.
Trip accommodation is situated between 2 amazing DOC hunting blocks – Eyre Mountains and Snowden Forest/Mavora Lakes – and we will have blocks and maps organised for safe hunting with red deer, fallow deer, chamois and pigs in the area.

General Itinerary
ANZAC day Thu 25th – Registration opens at 6pm, Safety briefing and block/buddy allocation at 8pm.
Fri 26th – Hunting from sunrise, assemble back at lodge in the evening for yarns and BYO dinner
Sat 27th – Hunting from sunrise but a bit more laid back, back at lodge in the evening for those who wish to make it a full day. World-class fishing will also be on our doorstep if any ladies are keen to fish instead on day 2
Sun 28th – Packing up and heading home, all away by noon
